Information collected when you use the "I'm Watching Tonight" feature:

If you choose to sign in with Google or Facebook to mark yourself as watching at a venue, we collect:

• Your name (from your Google or Facebook profile)
• Your email address (from your Google or Facebook profile)
• Your profile photo (displayed publicly on the venue card)
• Which venue you're watching at and the date

You are never required to sign in. The sign-in option is entirely voluntary and only used to display your attendance on a venue card.

Information collected automatically:

• Basic analytics data such as pages visited and approximate location (country/city level), collected through standard web analytics tools. No personally identifiable information is linked to this data.

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your contact form inquiries
• Display your name, photo, and attendance on the venue card you selected (visible to other site visitors)
• Understand how the site is being used so we can improve it
• Occasionally send relevant updates about the site or the World Cup in Vancouver, if you have opted in

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We may use aggregated, anonymized information (such as "300 fans listed across Vancouver venues during the tournament") for promotional or sponsor purposes. This data contains no personally identifiable information.

When you sign in using Google or Facebook, we receive only the basic profile information listed above. We do not receive access to your friends list, posts, messages, or any other account activity. Your login is handled securely through Supabase Auth, which uses industry-standard OAuth 2.0 protocols.

Your sign-in session is tied to this site only. Signing in here does not affect your Google or Facebook account in any way.

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider. Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months. Attendance data is retained for the duration of the World Cup tournament window (June 11 – July 19, 2026) and may be retained in anonymized form after that date.

You can request deletion of your data at any time by using the contact form and selecting "Other" as the reason.

This site may use cookies or similar technologies for basic functionality and analytics. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels on this site at this time.

Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we hold about you
• Request access to your personal information
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Withdraw consent and request deletion of your data
